Blogging my Passion

Like any passion, blogging has definitely become my passion and often i need encouragement to grow it above and beyond in India.

My passion of blogging is growing steadily as my income.

Although I am sure there will be a exponential growth in the income at a later
stage of my blogging passion,I have been trying a lot of stuff to increase my AdSense revenue.

Some tips which you can try are as follows

1)Try changing the layout of your blog once a month-its all about experiment

2)Write short blogs of things happening around you because I am sure Google will help drive traffic to your blog.

3)Put pictures on your blog and name the pic so that it can be found on Google Image search.

4)Position of AdSense adds-I have read about heat maps-placing on your adds in the right of your blog initiates more clicks...I am experimenting at the moment.

5)AdSense has got a pretty good feature where you target your add for a particular content You can create your own channels, like my AdSense on the bottom of this post is target ted to Visit India. Also its worth point that whenever you make a new AdSense adds try all the formats available.

One Final observation regarding posting of blogs--be country specific in writing post and choose the country according to time Zone.I am sure time zones play a important role in bringing traffic to your blog

Surviving India in the Eighties and Nineties

How did one survive growing up in the 80's and 90's?

1)We had no seatbelts, no airbags and sitting in the back of a truck was a treat…

2)Our baby prams had the most gorgeous lead based colours…

3)No such thing as tamper proof bottle tops… Opening kitchen cupboards was a breeze… as safety locks were unheard off…

4)Cycling was like a breath of fresh air… No safety helmets, knee pads or elbow pads, with plenty of cardboards between spokes to make it sound like a motorbike…

5)When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery…

6)We kept busy collecting bits & pieces so we could build all sort of things … and we were fearless on our bikes even when the brakes failed going downhill…

7)We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun….

8)We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…

9)We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our bike.

10)We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other…. How? No one knows…

11)We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…. nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours

12)We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around. And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swag from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs...

13)We did not have Play Stations, MP3, Nintendo's, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ...

BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!

We called on friends to come out to play, never rang the doorbell, just went around the back…

We loved being let loose in the big bad world…without bodyguards… We played with sticks and stones, played cowboys and Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…

When we failed our exams we were given a second chance by simply repeating the same grade…without visiting psychiatrists, psychologists or counselors…

Such were the days…

We had freedom, success, disappointments and responsibilities. ..

Most of all, we learned to respect others…

HAVE A SUPER DAY! with Golden Days Value!!!!!!! !!

5 things you can do in ten minutes to be a successful Blogger

Though their aren't any blogging specifications which I know about, but serious bloggers unlike me are making huge out of it. As of I am still learning and sharing what I follow. For me it's a medium to share my opinion with you. It would be good if it's a two way conversation where my readers could exchange their thoughts. I hope through this I build up a lot of relationship with people I know and others I hardly know about at all.

1.Write a blog post or article describing some thing you have learned. It can be some thing you have read or heard from a meeting, conference .The idea is to keep writing activity to less then 10 min, make a point quickly and click submits.

2. Search Google for some thing you thought about, don't just do

Google Search

Google Blog Search

Google Image Search

Google Map

Google News

Google Video

Google Books

Google groups

3. Go to websites like

Engadget,

Metafillter

Digg

Mixx

Mashable

Yahoo

Amazon

Delicious

Technorati

Slideshare

YouTube

Scan the results and write a brief about it and post it as a Blog, go through the items. The content in these sites is huge and I am sure you would find some thing interesting to write a short blog.

4. Install free widget on your blog so that the readers of your blog feel involved: -Addthis which allows readers of your blog to share it in social networking sites.

Outbrain allows to rate you're posting and it's free.

5. Bloggers like me love content and whenever I read some thing new I like to share it on my Blog. How do I read some thing new all the time, I have set Google alerts. .With Google alerts, I get a instance messages whenever some thing happens in the topic that matter to me. Like I have set Google alerts for Australia as I am not in Australia all the time.

Advertisers& Bloggers Mutual Relationship through Pay Post

Advertise on blogs

I, Concurrent designs started blogging last year; it was just one of the ways to spend some quality time on Internet and doing something productive. Its simple I earn money by posting this work of mine on web. It’s a new world altogether where you learn new things and the best part is the tips from other blogger. Its free and easily available.

Every day is a new experience for me, I wish if I could write every thing

What I did today? What I found interesting? I have a medium to express myself and I know some one some where might learn from my experience. After all we are social animals.

One of the ways where blogger like me can enhance their blogging experience is to make money blogging by getting paid to post. Pay post is one the several places online where advertisers and blogger meet for a mutual beneficial relationship.Obviously blogging is a powerful tool for advertiser for affective marketing campaigns and they pay us bloggers for posting reviews.

At paying post you get to pick up opportunities which you qualify for, you can reserve and write reviews based on advertisers specs. After you finish reviews you get paid.

YOU NEED TO HELP THE ECONOMY!!!

Important Information on the Stimulus Payment

"This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format:"
Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?"
A. It is money that the federal government will send to Taxpayers."

Q. Where will the government get this money?"
A. From taxpayers."

Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?"
A. Only a smidgen."
Q. What is the purpose of this payment?"
A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definitionTV set, thus stimulating the economy."

Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China?"
A. Shut up."Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
If you spend that money at K-Mart, all the money will go to China.

If you spend it on petrol it will go to the Arabs.

If you purchase a computer it will go to India.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to South East Asia or NewZealand (unless you buy organic).

If you buy a car it will go to Japan.

If you purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan.

And none of it will help the economy.

We need to keep that money here. You can keep the money here by spending it at garage sales, going to a football game, or spending it , beer or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still here.

My Blogging Dream at age of 55

Not long ago I was introduced to this world of Blogging. I was using Internet earlier just to check my email and now with this new passion of mine Blogging, I am sitting on my computer almost all time. I think I am becoming addictive to Internet or Blogs.
It’s no doubt a wonderful experience and a new way to communicate with people. I feel blogs being my virtual residence and Dream that through this I will become Famous where number of people knowing me would far exceed the number in real life.

This dream isn’t far and already I connect with people who read what I write here, follow my feeds ,photos and many more to come. Its a experience worth trying…

Victory-A bit predictable but tolerable

Being Indian I love cricket and wouldn’t leave a chance to watch any thing associated with cricket. That’s what motivated me to watch Victory a bollywood movie. My previous encounter with the movie was in Sydney Australia, where I actually saw the shooting of the movie at Sydney Cricket Ground and St Vincent Hospital. Australia cricketer Brett lee plays an important role in the movie.

The story is about Cricket which is not just a game in India but a religion, obsession, a way of life; it is a story about young cricketer and how the entire nations, one billion of us look up and down upon him, depending upon the outcome of the game.

Although much is already Predictable in the movie I would still recommend it viewing once
