Ever wonder if you can ask 'Google' to forget you

Wonder no more Google Transparency Reports  contains data shedding light on how laws and politics affect internet users and the flow of information online.Google transparency reports allows users to browse on the current reports of link removal requests from their searches.

A recent example is the 146,357 request received by Google in Europe to remove content related to embarrassing information about people's lives from from the search result.

Guess this set up a precedent for internet users to ask 'Google ' to forget them however to what extent its a feasible proposition needs to be defined while also striving to stand by its belief that all of the world's information should be universally accessible.

Can 'Google' be the next Crystal Ball?

Ever wondered what people are searching in India, Googletrends provides an insights of what people are searching on Google most.

The search data on Google trends definitely provides some value in what people are thinking and if we apply some mechanic towards analysis of this data, days aren’t far away when Google would be the next 'Crystal ball’

For example notice the snapshot of 'Google trends ‘in Indiawhich has 'Ebola' as one of the top searches in India, which clearly identifies the early stages of a potential outbreak of a Flue in India. Not to mention appropriate analysis needs to be done before we can come to a conclusion.

However on the flip side there are examples where Google searches could predict how a Bollywood movie premier'Singham Returns' would do on the opening day by comparing it with the number of search for that movie trailer in the four weeks before its release.

I guess its journey where now atleast we have a tool to analysis 'Collect Human thinking' and predict ‘Human Mind’. See study by Warwick Business School

Have you ever searched your name on Google

Have you ever searched your name on Google.I do it all the time when I am alone to find out what stuff comes up regarding myself.

To my surprise I see many results linked to my Name.

I have actually set up RSS feeds on that so that whenever my name searched on Google

I will receive a feed.

You just need to search your name in google and copy paste the Google URL
in the address bar and paste that into the search box at Page2RSS.com.

This will create a RSS feed of search results that you can subscribe via email.
