India ‘Emerging wealth as compared to China ‘Star of the east’ as says Credit Suisse

Thanks to the rapid growth, Indian wealth per adult in rupees has increased steadily at a rate of 8% annually over 2000-2014, according to the investment bank Credit Suisse.

The fifth annual study by the Swiss bank of global wealth trends found the median Indian wealth per adult was $4650 in mid 2014  well below  as compared to China which is USD 21,330 in 2014.Currency movements often exacerbate the difference however still the difference is still very pronounced.

Household wealth in India is heavily skewed towards property and other real assets which 86% of estimated assets. The 2014 Global Wealth Report shows global wealth is 20 per cent above its pre-crisis peak and almost 40 per cent higher than the low recorded in 2008.

While Indian wealth has strongly risen the gap between the rich and poor is still high, as not everyone has shared in India’s growth. Ninety five percent of the adult population has wealth below USD 10,000 on the other end only 0.3 percent has a net worth of USD100, 000.

Out of more than one Billion of us only 238, 000 Indian are the members of the top 1% of global wealth owner.

The good news though is household wealth of India is projected to grow by more than 50% by 2019.Go India.

Can 'Google' be the next Crystal Ball?

Ever wondered what people are searching in India, Googletrends provides an insights of what people are searching on Google most.

The search data on Google trends definitely provides some value in what people are thinking and if we apply some mechanic towards analysis of this data, days aren’t far away when Google would be the next 'Crystal ball’

For example notice the snapshot of 'Google trends ‘in Indiawhich has 'Ebola' as one of the top searches in India, which clearly identifies the early stages of a potential outbreak of a Flue in India. Not to mention appropriate analysis needs to be done before we can come to a conclusion.

However on the flip side there are examples where Google searches could predict how a Bollywood movie premier'Singham Returns' would do on the opening day by comparing it with the number of search for that movie trailer in the four weeks before its release.

I guess its journey where now atleast we have a tool to analysis 'Collect Human thinking' and predict ‘Human Mind’. See study by Warwick Business School

Buying the Cheapest Car -Tata Nano Online?

TATA'S NANO CAR booking has already been closed and for people like me who thought that they could book it online, its disheartening to know that the smartest car of our country doesn't have a smartest of website.A smart website would atleast allow you to book the car online. These days a website needs to do more than just showcase the product.

The funny part is that the website allows you to Join its Community on Facebook and orkut but not keeping the needs of its online customer in mind.

SLIDEWAY GRINDING MACHINE (MAKE: DANOBAT, SPAIN MODEL: RTM 4000)

Recently I received a query from one of my Customers about problems in above mentioned Machine

1.The ground surface shows wheel path marks of step over.
2.After grinding, final surface shows concave contour in nature.
3.The final ground surface shows chattering marks visual by naked eyes.
4.The system sometimes gives alarm "W axis driver not ready"
5.During machining of long jobs (L-12 to 16 feet), the wheel goes for dressing without putting the machine table into parking position.
6.There seems to be backlash in all axes, which needs to get compensated.
7.Your engineer may also add, after seeing the machine, any rectification / up-gradation / re-furbishing be required to put the machine into perfect working condition.

My Approach
1.Reconditioning of spindle
2.Reconditioning of axis drives
3.Overhauling of guide ways system
4.Overhauling of Hydraulic system
5.Overhauling of Lubrication system
6.Overhauling of Coolant system
7.Guide way protection system
8.Wheel dressing system
9.Redesign to fit new/equivalent items such as ball screws etcs
10.New components required to fit new items/components
11.Development of new software as per functional need of machine and any change required as per operation ease
12.Mechanical realignments of axis and spindle
13.Leveling of machine
14.Calibration of axis
15.Painting

Obama's policy a thumbs down for Indian Economy

American President Obama recently announced in one of his tax policies that there would be no end of year tax incentives for American companies which create job oversees in place like Bangalore instead incentives would now go to those creating jobs inside the US.

The new tax law is expected to hit India where US companies have been outsourcing their work and is expected to save $210 billion in next 10 years for US.

Gear Design Calculation

Gear Design Calculation is a repetitive process of solving mathematical equations. For optimal performance of a gear pair during its life cycle follwoing need to be taken care of

1)Best combination of module,
2)Number of teeth,
3)Gear correction,
4)Helix angle and
5)Material is to be selected out of number of possible combinations.

Achieving this with manual calculation is a hilarious task. Even using judgment based on experience may be a risky proposal.

Above problems can be solved by designing a gear pair using a newly developed computer tool GEAR DESIGN developed by Concurrent Solutions for all Industries.

The Gear Design Analyzes

1)‘Spur and Helical gears’ with various combinations of module,
2)Number of teeth,
3)Gear correction,
4)Helix angle and
5)Material quickly,

Gear Design Tool Provide the following Benefits

It is a accurate and reliable tool and does not require any special experience or training.

It is helpful in both the situations of New Design and Reverse Engineering (adopting existing design with alternate tooth data).

It provides a mathematical comparison to select best out of the various alternatives , increasing confidence of design.

Results of every calculation / analysis carried out are always saved as soft copy in computer and can be referred any time. There is no need of keeping the hard copies of record.

Output results are available in the form of operating data, tooth data, gear dimensional data, performance data, material data and factor of safety. These details also help in generating manufacturing drawings of a gear pair from embodiment layout.

Surviving India in the Eighties and Nineties

How did one survive growing up in the 80's and 90's?

1)We had no seatbelts, no airbags and sitting in the back of a truck was a treat…

2)Our baby prams had the most gorgeous lead based colours…

3)No such thing as tamper proof bottle tops… Opening kitchen cupboards was a breeze… as safety locks were unheard off…

4)Cycling was like a breath of fresh air… No safety helmets, knee pads or elbow pads, with plenty of cardboards between spokes to make it sound like a motorbike…

5)When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery…

6)We kept busy collecting bits & pieces so we could build all sort of things … and we were fearless on our bikes even when the brakes failed going downhill…

7)We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun….

8)We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…

9)We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our bike.

10)We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other…. How? No one knows…

11)We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…. nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours

12)We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around. And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swag from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs...

13)We did not have Play Stations, MP3, Nintendo's, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ...

BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!

We called on friends to come out to play, never rang the doorbell, just went around the back…

We loved being let loose in the big bad world…without bodyguards… We played with sticks and stones, played cowboys and Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…

When we failed our exams we were given a second chance by simply repeating the same grade…without visiting psychiatrists, psychologists or counselors…

Such were the days…

We had freedom, success, disappointments and responsibilities. ..

Most of all, we learned to respect others…

HAVE A SUPER DAY! with Golden Days Value!!!!!!! !!

YOU NEED TO HELP THE ECONOMY!!!

Important Information on the Stimulus Payment

"This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format:"
Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?"
A. It is money that the federal government will send to Taxpayers."

Q. Where will the government get this money?"
A. From taxpayers."

Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?"
A. Only a smidgen."
Q. What is the purpose of this payment?"
A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definitionTV set, thus stimulating the economy."

Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China?"
A. Shut up."Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
If you spend that money at K-Mart, all the money will go to China.

If you spend it on petrol it will go to the Arabs.

If you purchase a computer it will go to India.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to South East Asia or NewZealand (unless you buy organic).

If you buy a car it will go to Japan.

If you purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan.

And none of it will help the economy.

We need to keep that money here. You can keep the money here by spending it at garage sales, going to a football game, or spending it , beer or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still here.

New Year Greetings from the land of the thousand colors and no paintbrushes

Greetings from the land of the thousand colors and no paintbrushes, also known as the land of 3000 Gods, also known as the land where there is no electricity. My power's been off for 3 days. Some major rain created havoc. I am living in the office.Saying this I would like the opportunity to re-present myself to this court of esteemed group of mixed nutters.

I am Sir Smile from the land far away where people are permanently tanned so we don't have to go to Florida, Miami, or the Bahamas. (which saves us lot of money) . I come from a land where they eat a green chili with an onion and still get dates with women. I come from a land where its possible that the dump in your yard could have been that of an elephant's walking down the street and the firing and bomb explosions you hear in the middle of the night are basically firecrackers being lit for celebrating the festival of the month.

Its the land of a billion people and none of them are sane, including me. So if you see a T shirt which says "Come to India, 1 billion people can't be wrong". You better be careful with the guy who's wearing it. What else to say, that ladies here drape themselves in a 6.5 meter colorful cloth which would put the rainbow to shame. Our government is ...wait a minute "What government"...ahem!.

Our criminal

police system is best described by this. The Russian police inspector said "As soon as a crime is done, we catch the culprit in a week".The American police inspector said "As soon as a crime is done we catch the culprit in a hour"The Indian police inspector said "We know one week before where the crime is going to take place and who the culprit is "

Our Movies:

We have many many wonderful movies to watch. In 20 languages to be precise. The movies will make you go crazy ( literally). We have Hero's and Heroines who dance around trees and change 10 dresses in a 5 minute song. Sometimes when they are singing in the street too, they somehow change 10 dresses in the blink of a second. Superman should know more about this. But there are some good movies too.

Our Women:

They say that Muslim ladies wear burkhas for safety. Indian ladies wear sholapur leather sandals for safety. That is by far the most fatal weapon in the hands of a lady second to the kitchen roller. You will find many young men with the distinct impression of a sandal on their cheeks. (Like legendary comic book hero Phatom's skull impression).Ladies here do not encourage Plato's philosophy (A girl and a guy can go out and do nothing, absolutely nothing. Its platonic). But there are some beautiful gems in the dust. You just have to have the patience to dig them out.

Our Country:

Is Crazy, Imagine this 28 languages, 4000 dialects, 28 states all speaking Greek and Latin, somehow we are the Europe of South Asia. We have an army which speaks this 28 languages. Ever wonder how we fight when a war starts.Point to ponder
